One of the equine industry's leading management and public relations companies, Pro Management, has announced that Kevin Howell, of Stratford, Oklahoma, has become its Show and Event Coordinator.
The position was previously held by Chris Potter, who worked with Pro Management Inc. for nearly a decade. Pro Management CEO Cheryl Magoteaux noted, "Chris is like family to us, and we fully support him in his decision to take a position that allows him to stay closer to home." She added, "Kevin has worked as Chris's assistant and understudy for the past two years, and we're confident that this will be a smooth transition."
Howell grew up in western Oklahoma before attending college at Oklahoma State University, where he majored in Ag Leadership with a minor in Ag Business. He worked in the banking industry before joining Pro Management.
"Chris has earned a reputation as one of the most thorough and detail-minded show managers in the industry. It has been a great opportunity to learn from him, and I am excited about the future of Pro Management," Howell noted, "We are looking forward to the challenge and we're excited about the possibility of expanding Pro Management into other areas of the western performance industry."
